Kane Lane teams up with Kit Rice on a unique house record that at first listen you may think falls into the 'deep' subgenre; the song's gradual, not hurried progression may at first give off an impression that this is gonna be a chill record. But that's not the case; things start as most house jams do, with a solid 4 to the floor beats. Then a vocal slides in, setting not only the tone of the entire record but the vocal also serves as the groove. Now you're liking what you hear, and just as your body starts to really feel the beat, layer upon layer of synth reveal themselves, keys are peppered in at precisely the right moment... the energy is infectious, the melody and the lush chords take over while the vocal somehow seems even stronger with the building energy.
